As part of HFI’s Contextual Innovation Team, I collaborated on a project with Intel to develop innovative product ideas in the education domain. The outcome was EDUWISE, a concept device designed to enhance learning experiences for students and teachers — which later evolved into the Classmate PC (CMPC), a laptop for children.
Conducted secondary research on existing educational technology products.
Led brainstorming and design ideation sessions to generate early product concepts.
Developed user scenarios informed by contextual research.
Facilitated participatory design sessions with students, teachers, and parents.
Conducted classroom observations to understand real-world learning environments.
Designed research materials including posters, protocols, and questionnaires.
Carried out direct and group interviews to capture user needs and behaviors.
